About The Position

The HR Generalist/Senior HR Generalist at the University of Colorado Boulder will provide operational support and guidance to the College of Engineering and Applied Science (CEAS) departments and programs. This role is responsible for ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of HR processes, supporting the full HR lifecycle for faculty and staff, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance HR operations. The position will involve both operational and strategic responsibilities, with the Senior HR Generalist expected to lead projects and demonstrate independent problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• One year of related experience for HR Generalist; three years for Senior HR Generalist, including experience managing human and organizational needs.

Nice To Haves

• Project Management skills (for Sr. Generalist).
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support and guidance to CEAS departments and programs.
• Ensure compliance with college, university, and state policies and procedures related to HR processes.
• Support the full HR lifecycle including recruitment, hiring, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
• Conduct compensation analyses and ensure salary equity.
• Facilitate performance review processes and support employee engagement initiatives.
• Manage HR shared drive and maintain accurate employee records.
• Serve as a liaison with campus HR centers of excellence and represent the college at meetings.
