About The Position

HR Generalist/Payroll Coordinator- New England Region Job Description Payroll/ HR responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Reconcile timekeeping and process weekly payroll for the New England region. Support managers and supervisors with payroll and HR related questions. Administer payroll and support audits and compliance reporting requirements. Implement payroll and HR processes consistent with union contracts, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Support employee relations matters related to payroll and HR compliance. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations through accurate reporting and exceptional recordkeeping. Serve as the on‑site HR presence for the New England region, supporting employees and leadership with day‑to‑day HR needs. Assist with onboarding, training coordination, safety initiatives, and employee engagement activities. Coordinate HR programs, events, and time‑sensitive initiatives while maintaining accurate and compliant records. Demonstrate exceptional problem‑solving, organizational, and time‑management skills in a fast‑paced environment. Overview HR Generalist/Payroll Coordinator- New England Region HR Generalist/Payroll Coordinator- Provides hands‑on HR and payroll support across multiple functions, with an on‑site New England presence. Supports onboarding, training, safety, employee relations, HR programs, and weekly payroll processing, including timekeeping, compliance, reporting, and recordkeeping. For compliance purposes for RI transparency, the expected salary range is $25.00 - $30.00. Compensation will be based on experience and other factors permitted by law. Requirements

  • Prior HR experience required, with working knowledge of onboarding, benefits administration, training, payroll support, and safety processes.
  • Payroll experience required; ADP experience required
  • Strong Excel skills preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Proven customer‑focused approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and record‑keeping skills with the ability to handle confidential information professionally and discreetly.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the New England region, with occasional travel to Long Island.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with electronic timekeeping systems preferred.
  • Experience working in both union and non-union environments a plus.
