About The Position

Sigma Defense is seeking detail-oriented and tech-savvy Human Resource Generalist I to join our People Operations team within the HR department. This role is at the intersection of human resources and technology and will be responsible for streamlining the employee experience, maintaining our HR tech stack, and ensuring that our internal processes run seamlessly, efficiently, and with purpose. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in HR Operations, People Ops, or a similar administrative role.
  • Strong workflow automation and SOP development skills, a data-driven mindset, and a clear focus on improving the employee experience in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with hands-on ownership of People Ops systems (Docebo, Zendesk) is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources, Business, or related field of study is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an important team member in managing the full employee lifecycle from a seamless onboarding for new hires to supportive offboarding processes.
  • Serve as a member of the service team managing employee inquiries regarding employment events, life events, benefits, and policies.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant digital employee records within our HRIS.
  • Design comprehensive internal audits to ensure continued data accuracy.
  • Assist in the creation, implementation, and continuous improvement of standard operating processes for HR.
  • Improve automation across HR systems to provide smooth and accurate processing of key transactions in the employee life cycle.
  • Support and lead programs that improve employee engagement and experience across HR.
  • Analyze People data to provide insights into retention, engagement, and headcount planning.
  • System Administration: Serve as the primary administrator for the Docebo Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Content Management: Upload, configure, and manage e-learning courses, certifications, and training paths.
  • User Management: Manage user groups, branches, and permissions to ensure employees have access to relevant training materials.
  • Reporting: Generate compliance reports and training completion metrics for leadership.
  • Technical Support: Troubleshoot SCORM/xAPI issues and act as the liaison with Docebo technical support.
  • Content Development: Utilize available tools to support the development and delivery of custom learning content.
  • System Administration: Configure and maintain the Zendesk platform specifically for People Operations/HR support tickets.
  • Workflow Optimization: Build and refine triggers, automation, and macros to decrease response times and improve employee experience.
  • Knowledge Base: Develop and maintain internal "Self-Service" articles and FAQs within Zendesk Guide.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor ticket volume and SLA (Service Level Agreement) performance to identify bottlenecks in HR service delivery.
