About The Position

The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting the execution of key Human Resources and Training initiatives to build people capability throughout the Latin America and Caribbean KFC franchise organization. This position will be based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and will support an organization that includes 1950+ restaurants across 37 countries and 50+ Franchise Partners. The role requires 10% travel, both international and domestic.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree attained or in progress; studies in HR Technology, Training or Human Resources a plus.
  • 3-4 years' experience in Training, HR, or customer service role (e.g. retail, hospitality or restaurant).
  • Strong planning, organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • High work ethic and self-starter; desire to learn and build others' know-how.
  • Analytical skills, tech savvy, creative, and curious.
  • Strong leadership, communications, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) Required; Portuguese Preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support execution of regional HR & Training strategy.
  • Drive HR & Training systems and processes within franchise organization.
  • Lead Employee Engagement Survey for Franchisee Teams.
  • Support franchise markets to drive performance on training initiatives.
  • Lead creation and delivery of training material for eLearning platform and new product development regional rollouts.
  • Work cross-functionally and partner with wider LA&C KFC team to drive key brand strategic initiatives.
  • Support Restaurant Support Center (RSC) with department budget, weekly communications, and office tasks.
  • Support field implementation of Training Technology; drive usage of training systems across region.
  • Provide Learning Management System (LMS) support to troubleshoot learning system case submissions from markets across region.
  • Act as the LMS expert, conducting LMS know-how sessions for franchise HR/Training partners.
  • Import content and build curriculum/courses in LMS; develop, maintain, and evolve LMS training materials.
  • Develop, maintain, and evolve reporting platform and output regional training reports monthly.
  • Other tasks as necessary.
