About The Position

The Human Resources (HR) Director at Platte River Concrete Co. is a leadership role responsible for overseeing all HR functions, including strategy, policies, programs, and compliance. Requirements

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and FMCSA guidelines.
• Proven experience with full-cycle recruitment and employee relations in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the transportation or logistics industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the Company's business goals.
• Oversee recruitment efforts for various positions, ensuring the Company attracts top talent.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on HR matters, including conflict resolution and performance management.
• Design and implement performance management programs that encourage employee development.
• Oversee payroll processing and administration for all employees.
• Manage compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations, particularly in the trucking industry.
• Partner with the Safety Director to maintain safety programs and protocols.
• Manage HR technology and data to track employee performance and payroll.
• Mentor and develop a team of HR professionals.
