HR Data Scientist (People Analytics) The Role We’re looking for an HR Data Scientist to join our People Analytics Center of Excellence. In this role, you’ll leverage your expertise in machine learning, AI, and HR data to design and deploy predictive models that inform strategic workforce decisions, from talent acquisition to retention and mobility. You’ll work hands-on in Databricks, using scalable data science workflows to turn complex people data into actionable insights that shape how we attract, develop, and retain talent. Key Outcomes You will deliver: Production-grade People Analytics projects such as attrition prediction, hiring funnel analytics, , and skills inference. A scalable, secure Workday-integrated Databricks data model that supports advanced analytics and predictive modeling. Reliable ML and analytics models that deliver actionable insights across HR. Your Responsibilities Model Development and Advanced Analytics Design, develop, and deploy production-ready ML and statistical models using Python (pandas, scikit-learn, PySpark, GPBoost, XGBoost, among others) within Databricks and tracked through MLflow. Apply techniques such as classification, regression, NLP, clustering, and forecasting to address workforce challenges. Perform model evaluation, monitoring, and explainability to ensure responsible use of AI in HR contexts. Partner with data engineers to ensure reliable HR datasets across Workday and other systems. Insight Generation and Storytelling Translate model outputs into clear, actionable insights for HR and business leaders. Collaborate with People Analytics teams to visualize and communicate findings effectively. Document methodologies and promote a culture of data transparency and continuous learning.
