About The Position

Leidos is seeking an HR Data & Analytics Advisor with solid experience in Workday configuration (including HCM, Learning, and Talent Performance) to help shape and execute our HR analytics and AI strategy, delivering insights that drive workforce decisions across the enterprise. Primary Responsibilities: Deliver actionable HR metrics, trends, and insights across the employee lifecycle. Serve as an analytics advisor by conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses, such as: ad hoc reporting, statistical modeling, and answering key business questions. Monitor KPIs, identify trends, and perform root cause analysis to inform decision-making. Develop executive-ready presentations with clear data storytelling and concise insights. Apply an AI-forward mindset to enhance analytics, automation, and insight delivery. Design, build, and maintain HR analytics products (datasets, ETL processes, dashboards) in partnership with IT. Manage analytics product lifecycle, including requirements, testing, enhancements, and release planning. Drive continuous improvement and innovation in HR analytics tools and self-service capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative analysis or related field with 4+ years of relevant analytics experience.
  • Must have hands-on Workday configuration experience, including HCM, Talent Performance, and Learning modules.
  • Solid experience working with HR data and performing data querying, ETL/data wrangling, and developing reports and dashboards.
  • Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data integrity skills with the ability to translate insights for stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • US citizenship is required and able to obtain security clearance as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in a quantitative analysis or related field.
  • Experience with SQL, R, or Python.
  • Experience building statistical or predictive models using people data.
  • Experience with Workday reporting, dashboards, and data architecture.
