For candidates with prior HR Generalist experience - or those interested in expanding their scope beyond analytics - this position provides the opportunity to support HR initiatives and partner closely with the broader HR team as business needs evolve. The HR Data Analyst is responsible for delivering actionable people analytics that support strategic decision-making across the U.S. organization. This role develops and maintains HR dashboards, conducts advanced workforce analysis, and ensures data integrity across HR systems. In addition to core analytics responsibilities, this role will collaborate closely with the HR team and may support broader HR Generalist initiatives over time based on organizational needs. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capabilities, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, business-focused insights for leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Statistics, or related field.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in HR analytics, HRIS, or related analytical HR role.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, modeling).
  • Experience working with HRIS systems and ATS platforms.
  • Strong understanding of HR metrics, compensation analysis, and workforce planning.
  • High level of accuracy with a strong analytical mindset.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights.

  • Prior HR Generalist experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain HR dashboards, reports, and metrics providing visibility into headcount, turnover, hiring trends, engagement, retention, and workforce composition.
  • Prepare standard and ad hoc reports related to compensation, benefits, EEO/AAP, and broader HR metrics.
  • Create executive-ready presentations and data summaries.
  • Support predictive analytics and workforce modeling to anticipate hiring and organizational needs.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Conduct benchmarking and external market data analysis.
  • Administer and maintain HR-related systems (e.g., ADP, SAP, ATS).
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and manage queries, reporting tools, and system enhancements to improve reporting efficiency.
  • Support benefit billing preparation, auditing, and reconciliation.
  • Partner with the Benefits team to ensure accurate 401(k) enrollments and compliance testing.
  • Support EEO/AAP reporting and other regulatory data submissions.
  • Ensure accurate reporting for compensation administration and benefit programs.
  • Support HR operations initiatives including process automation, reporting enhancements, and system improvements.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and strengthen data governance practices.
  • Provide analytical support for organizational initiatives and special projects.
  • Provide support to broader HR Generalist initiatives as needed, including onboarding coordination, employee documentation support, compliance projects, and cross-functional HR efforts.
