About The Position

The HR Coordinator - Talent Acquisition at Textron Aviation plays a crucial role in supporting various HR-related inquiries and tasks for business units, applicants, employees, and retirees. This position serves as the main contact for candidates during the interview and pre-employment processes, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for all stakeholders involved.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in human resources, customer service, hospitality, or a related field required.
• Experience in a high-volume customer and/or candidate environment preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in a professional business environment.
• Working understanding of human resources principles, practices, and procedures.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to candidates throughout interview and pre-employment processes.
• Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates regarding pre-employment tasks.
• Report weekly on new candidates, interviews, pre-employment clearances, and start dates.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to interviews and pre-employment processes.
• Update process maps, work instructions, and playbooks to maintain up-to-date documentation.
• Coordinate travel needs and logistics for external onsite interviews.
• Manage relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and internal support partners through effective communication.
• Manage talent acquisition purchase orders and equipment requests using the Ariba system.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies related to fair recruitment practices.
• Participate in process enhancement projects to improve HR and Talent Acquisition efficiency.
