About The Position

The HR Coordinator at Hankook Tire is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the Human Resources department. This role serves as the first point of contact for HR visitors and involves managing various HR functions, ensuring efficient operations, and contributing to the overall goals of the HR team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of HR practices and be adept at using HR software and tools to facilitate processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Human Resource Management, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of relevant work experience in an HR department or office setting preferred.
  • Strong public speaking skills for large orientation groups.

Responsibilities

  • Greet HR visitors and assist them in identifying their business needs.
  • Establish procedures for accessing the HR team.
  • Maintain HR file cabinets and ensure documentation is filed correctly and timely.
  • Ensure employee personnel files comply with document retention guidelines and perform periodic audits.
  • Coordinate intra-departmental mail distribution and manage garnishments as appropriate.
  • Support the new hire process and orientation, ensuring accuracy and follow-up on documentation.
  • Manage office supplies and HR budgeted purchases, including creating consultation forms.
  • Oversee the employee uniform process, including distribution and vendor communication.
  • Act as the main contact for the employee tire discount program.
  • Enter and process invoices for the HR department within budget guidelines.
  • Maintain and update workforce data in ADP and SAP, ensuring legal compliance.
  • Assist employees with pay-related updates and personal information changes.
  • Generate employee reports and prepare meeting rooms for HR events.
  • Coordinate HR and company-related events and create communication updates.
  • Monitor the texting service and provide employee support through 'AskHR'.
  • Promote employee recognition through various programs and organize HR team events.
