About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join the Office of Human Resources. This position is critical in supporting the HR administration of the full employee life cycle, with a particular focus on recruitment and talent management functions. The HR Coordinator will ensure accuracy and compliance with institutional policies and regulations while leveraging the Workday Enterprise modules for efficient operations and optimizing the employee and user experience. The ideal candidate will have some experience and/or knowledge of HR basic administration, policies, and practices. In this role, the HR Coordinator will utilize Workday to manage employee profiles, job assignments, and payroll information. They will maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee files and documentation, both digital and paper. The Coordinator will collaborate with the HR team to implement and communicate HR policies and procedures related to employment and payroll. They will also monitor and provide oversight for the HR e-mail account, Workday Case Management, and HR mail distribution, ensuring timely and accurate communication to appropriate departments or individuals. The HR Coordinator will assist with various personnel transactions, including offer letters, background checks, reference checks, new hire communications, and compliance tracking. They will coordinate the offboarding process and prepare and execute various personnel transactions involving employee recordkeeping, processing of new hires, I-9 processing, pay administration, and recruiting. Additionally, the Coordinator will respond to requests for information, troubleshoot issues, and follow up on employee inquiries in a timely manner. In terms of talent and recruiting operations support, the HR Coordinator will assist with coordinating programs and activities that promote employee engagement, wellness, learning, and development. They will coordinate job postings, assist with candidate communications, interview scheduling, and support the onboarding process for new hires. The Coordinator will also assist with learning module tracking in Workday for compliance trainings and other offerings, as well as periodic training registration for workshops.
