Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • In lieu of a degree, 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources, a compliance program, audit documentation, manufacturing/service or Drug and Alcohol program administration is required
  • Experience in Compliance, Human Resources, or related business functions is helpful
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are needed
  • Ability to obtain, present, and discuss confidential information and recommendations while using discretion is needed
  • Project management skills are helpful

Responsibilities

  • Administer Textron Aviation's Drug and Alcohol program to ensure a drug-free workplace
  • Stay updated with FAA and FMCSA regulations, and collaborate with HR to implement necessary changes
  • Develop and recommend actions to enhance policies and procedures, including post-accident protocols, reasonable causes and suspicion, random testing, and pre-employment processes
  • Conduct compliance and audit activities to ensure adherence to organizational standards, testing periods, and internal policy
  • Administer FAA DOT required training for supervisors and new hires, and deliver training on Drug and Alcohol compliance topics
  • Partner with business leaders on cross-functional projects to drive organizational success
  • Keep management informed on key issues and report testing metrics regularly
  • Lead or assist with projects assigned
