About The Position

The HR Compliance Coordinator at Holder Construction is responsible for ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures, particularly in relation to I-9 administration, background checks, and service milestone recognition. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity of HR operations and supporting the company's commitment to a safe and inclusive work environment.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of HR experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, HR, or related field preferred. Construction industry experience a plus.
  • Proven ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive company information and associate data.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint. Prior HRIS experience preferred.
  • Professional and engaging with a positive attitude. Strong Customer Service skills.
  • Proactive problem solver with a team-oriented mindset.
  • Critical thinking skills, independent drive, ability to learn quickly, multi-task and work efficiently in collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • I-9 Form program administration including E-Verify verification, file maintenance, and internal training.
  • Coordinate company background check and drug screening process including distribution and status tracking.
  • Administer the company's service milestone recognition program, including anniversary tracking, coordination of awards/communications, and best practices for timely and meaningful recognition.
  • Ongoing PTO program administration (e.g. new hire updates, associate/manager support, annual reporting, etc.).
  • Coordinate national onsite HR compliance postings, ensuring alignment with company, federal, state, and local requirements and policies.
  • Invoice processing and reconciliation for compliance vendors.
  • Additional HR and compliance special projects as needed.
