About The Position

The HR Compensation & Talent Acquisition Coordinator role at ACT-1 Government in Aiken, SC, is a full-time position focused on managing compensation processes and supporting talent acquisition efforts. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • 4+ years of proven relevant experience in HR or compensation roles.
  • Proven understanding of database and spreadsheet systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including familiarity with formulas and data analysis.
  • Advanced experience using Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with employees and managers.
  • Sensitivity to data and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and basic problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, monitor, and track variable pay awards.
  • Track budgets and perform variance analyses of employee movement.
  • Process special pay awards and electronic documents for employees.
  • Interact with managers to obtain information for efficient processing of awards.
  • Assist with compensation survey participation, including data gathering and reporting.
  • Produce employee communications such as offer letters and merit letters.
  • Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests.
  • Support the recruitment/hiring process by preparing for campus events and communicating with applicants.
  • Utilize online tools to track and maintain employee records.
  • Prepare online requests for organizational movement and update job code listings.
  • Track employee-related information for various HR programs.
  • Assist with implementing and maintaining compensation systems.
  • Support other HR functions as assigned.
