About The Position

The HR Communications Intern will support the Human Resources team by assisting with change management and internal communication initiatives that help employees understand, adopt, and engage with key organizational and HR programs. Based in Waltham, this intern will work closely with HR partners to help translate complex change impacts into clear, timely, and consistent messaging. This role provides hands-on exposure to enterprise HR initiatives and offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to employee engagement and adoption efforts.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to simplify and clearly communicate complex information.
  • Interest in change management, internal communications, and HR initiatives.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional partners while managing multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with standard business tools (e.g., Microsoft Office) and comfort working with data is a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Experience with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro)
  • Social media content creation
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint

Responsibilities

  • Support change management initiatives by assisting in the development and delivery of internal communications related to HR and organizational programs.
  • Help translate the impact of change initiatives—such as Workday, learning & development opportunities, and talent management programs—into clear, employee‑friendly messaging.
  • Assist in ensuring consistent communication across HR and business partners by supporting messaging alignment and coordination.
  • Support the collection and organization of data related to employee awareness, engagement, and adoption of HR initiatives.
  • Collaborate with HR stakeholders to support ongoing communication planning and execution efforts.

  • The estimated hourly rate/salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $24/Hr. -$25/Hr.
