Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or Organizational Development.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5+ years progressive leadership in Human Resources.
  • Specialized training in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, training, and preventive labor relations.
  • Experience in the administration of HR programs and policies.
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment, including Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to persuade.
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
  • Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

  • PHR certification.
  • Experience with Labor Unions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of Human Resources Management for the assigned business unit(s) including policies and procedures, recruitment, hiring, compensation, benefits administration, labor law compliance, and employee relations.
  • Serve as contact for employees and answer questions regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Partner with HR Regional partners to ensure all policies, procedures and processes are current and administered according to CEVA direction.
  • Develop and administer an effective recruitment program that promotes CEVA as the leading provider of services in the industry.
  • Interview personnel for available positions and provide guidance to management in the interviewing process.
  • Ensure consistency and compliance of all hiring procedures to corporate policies and procedures.
  • Assist Benefits department in gathering information and required forms in the administration of FMLA requests.
  • Provide various reports concerning tracking of employee turnover, PTO, and other performance measurements.
  • Work with Corporate HRIS to provide accurate reporting of HR information to business unit leaders and other managers.
  • Maintain all federal and state required logs in accordance with stated requirements.
  • Assist in the implementation of any training/procedure changes regarding compensation/benefits strategies.
  • Assist in the resolution of any employee-related issues.
  • Help to coordinate CEVA's performance management evaluation process.
  • Welcome new employees into the CEVA world and facilitate enrollment into benefits for new hires.
  • Complete other projects as assigned by the Senior HR Manager.
  • Interact with assigned Business Unit leaders on a daily basis to discuss employee issues and ongoing projects.
