About The Position

The HR Business Partner conducts regular meetings with assigned business units, partnering with management to develop and execute both long-term and short-term HR strategies that directly support and enable business objectives. This role educates and advises management and employees regarding HR policies, processes, and practices, ensuring that HR policies and collective bargaining agreements are applied accurately and consistently. The HR Business Partner analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with other HR staff to develop solutions, programs, and policies, supporting the building of organizational capabilities while reducing complexity and partnering with business units to maximize team performance. Additionally, this position manages and resolves complex employee relations issues, conducts effective investigations, and recommends courses of action while ensuring consistency and fairness in all resolutions. The HR Business Partner provides timely coaching to managers and employees, assisting in the development of strong leadership skills and maintaining in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to employee management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of HR experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • PHR or SPHR designation is a plus.
  • Experience working in a large, fast-paced organization.
  • Experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
  • Working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines including compensation, organizational development, and labor relations.
  • Knowledge of JCAHO standards related to human resources.
  • Experience with collective bargaining agreements.
  • Superb communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to collaborate, influence, and drive results.
  • Strong business acumen and passion for innovative approaches.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple initiatives.
