Your role is the heartbeat of our night-shift workforce — building trust, elevating leaders, and shaping a high-performance culture when the rest of the company is asleep. At Quince, people are our strongest differentiator. We’re looking for a Nightshift HR Business Partner who thrives in fast-growing, hands-on operations and knows how to build both structure and humanity into a 24/7 environment. This role is perfect for an HRBP who loves being close to the work, influencing leaders in real time, solving problems with data, and designing people practices that actually work for shift-based teams. You’ll be the trusted advisor for associates and managers, the driver of retention and engagement, and the connective tissue ensuring night-shift employees are seen, heard, and supported.

  • Serve as the onsite HR lead for the night shift, partnering with warehouse managers and supervisors to ensure a safe, compliant, and high-performing operation.
  • Own employee relations, compliance, and investigations for night-shift staff, ensuring fair and timely resolution of issues.
  • Partner with leadership on workforce planning, shift scheduling models, and org design that meet operational demands.
  • Translate Quince-wide HR processes (onboarding, off-boarding, training, feedback, and performance systems) to fit night-shift realities.
  • Drive retention and engagement initiatives tailored to night-shift associates, leveraging data on turnover, absenteeism, and performance.
  • Coach managers on performance management, underperformance resolution, and building effective teams.
  • Collaborate across the day-shift HR & Talent team to ensure consistency of standards, processes, and employee experience across all shifts.
  • 5–8+ years of HR experience supporting hourly, warehouse, or distribution teams.
  • Experience managing HR processes in a 24/7 warehouse or distribution operations.
  • Strength and confidence in employee relations — knowing how to balance empathy with accountability.
  • Shift flexibility - ability to occasionally overlap into day shifts for training and alignment.
  • A coaching mindset and the ability to influence frontline leaders to level up their teams.
  • Operational fluency — you understand how staffing, attendance, performance, and leadership directly impact output.
  • Proficiency in labor law, shift-based compliance, and safety/OSHA fundamentals.
  • Flexibility and resilience to work overnight hours with some daytime overlap for training and alignment.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
