Panasonic Energy is seeking a highly motivated and passionate HR professional to join our team as a HR Business Partner, reporting to the HR Manager. The HR Business Partner role is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units and serves as a consultant to management on human resources related issues. This role will serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a HR capacity.
  • Manufacturing or related HR experience.
  • Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, or a related field or the equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • PHR or SPHR is highly desired.
  • 5+ years HR leadership experience, with a majority in a manufacturing environment, preferably in both union and non-union environments.
  • Multi-site HR leadership preferred.
  • Demonstrated comfort in multi-national environments.
  • Superb written and spoken communication.
  • Demonstrated excellence in investigatory elements of employee relations including having addressed concerns related to discrimination, compliance, safety, etc.
  • Flexibility - critical for a start-up environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
  • Alignment to Panasonic's seven (7) core principles.

Responsibilities

  • Provides day to day guidance to employees, including coaching, counseling, career development and disciplinary actions including HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Acts as the primary consultant to assigned operational groups for all Human Resources business matters.
  • Serves as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR-related matters, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Participates in HR internal audits and recommends necessary adjustments.
  • Ensures effective and efficient onboarding of talent including induction plans and onboarding plans.
  • Addresses and resolve employee relations issues, conducting investigations when necessary and providing guidance on conflict resolution.
  • Identifies trends, risks, and opportunities within the organization and develop solutions in partnership with programs.
  • Understands business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of HR within the company.
  • Utilizes KPIs and metrics to measure progress and keep up to date on external market trends.
  • Partners with leadership to promote a culture of open communication and proactive employee engagement.
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
