In this role, you will be a strategic partner to both our employees and leadership, fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring alignment between business objectives and Human Resources (HR) initiatives. You will collaborate closely with various departments to provide expert HR guidance, implement policies and procedures, and drive employee engagement. Requirements

  • You have a minimum of 6 years of progressive HRBP experience
  • You understand the nuances of supporting hourly workers and will have experience partnering with mid-level managers to build a strong engaged team
  • You have exceptional employee investigation experience as well as the ability to use data & metrics to influence and help business partners make thoughtful decisions
  • Experience with unions and labor relations, including bargaining and grievance management
  • You will have a minimum of 8 years of progressive HRBP experience, and a proven track record of leadership in supporting functional state leaders within retail and manufacturing environments.
  • Your exceptional employee investigation experience as well as the ability to use data & metrics to influence and help business partners make thoughtful decisions

Nice To Haves

  • You have hands-on experience with HRIS and ATS platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Employee Relations, Human Resources or related field required.
  • Four years of professional human resources experience, including two years in employee relations (within cannabis is preferred) OR equivalent through training, education, and other experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal employment law and the ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws to situations.
  • Ability to remain professional, calm, and persuasive in controversial and/or confrontational situations.
  • Experience working in highly confidential environments.
  • A general understanding of labor laws.
