About The Position

Acting as strategic business partner, the Corporate Human Resources Manager manages Kubota North America's human resources functions such as employee relations, leave administration, investigations, and performance management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in business management, Human Resources or Business Administration required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of Federal, State and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of equal opportunity and affirmative action requirements.
  • Knowledge of FMLA, FLSA, ADA and other employment legislation and regulations.
  • Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills including the ability to analyze complex information and to define and solve problems.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as one of the initial points of advice, problem resolution and facilitation in the areas of employee relations, performance management and employee discipline.
  • Interact and consult with divisions and corporate management in the planning, approval and implementation of staffing projections, recruitment strategies, posting/advertising, screening and applicant pool development.
  • Conduct needs assessments with management to identify and evaluate individual and/or group training requirements for employees.
  • Provide initial assistance and problem resolution employees on employee benefit issues.
  • Oversight of the development, management and implementation of a variety of safety programs to ensure regulatory compliance as mandated by local, State and Federal agencies.
  • Provide a range of generalist support and problem resolution including, but not limited to, implementation of FMLA and catastrophic leave policies, compliance with ADA, FLSA, OSHA, Workers' Compensation and other Federal, State and local regulations.
  • Monitor, advise and counsel on company policies, procedures and practices.
  • Ensure compliance with employee records.
  • Submit invoices for payment at the corporate level. Monitor expenses to budget and report overages. Recommend and implement strategies for expense reduction.
  • Monitor entry into Ceridian (payroll system) and ensure compliance for each payroll period.
  • Manage and coordinate activities associated with the Holiday Party, summer picnic, annual dealer meeting.
  • Responsible for preparing, recommending, implementing and maintaining succession planning programs and processes for personnel.
  • Additional duties assigned by management.
