About The Position

The HR Business Partner I plays a crucial role in developing solutions to meet the strategic objectives of Intrepid Global Solutions. Under the guidance of the Director and VP of Human Resources, this position provides essential support and consultation to various management levels, ensuring alignment with the company's mission. The HRBP is responsible for maintaining business literacy regarding the financial position, culture, and competitive landscape of the assigned business unit, while collaborating closely with HR specialty stakeholders and Corporate Business Support Functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience (6-8 years of HR experience may substitute for a degree).
  • 2-4 years of diverse experience in all areas of human resources.
  • Experience with HRIS Systems such as ADP Workforce Now, with the ability to run reports and perform analysis.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Exceptional conflict management skills and emotional intelligence to work with executive leadership.
  • Good interpersonal skills to work effectively with all levels of leadership, employees, and peers.
  • Experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
  • Demonstrated experience building strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and executes recruitment activities, compensation programs, new hire orientations, employee benefits, and health and safety measures.
  • Conducts weekly meetings with respective business units.
  • Responsible for all termination activities for departing employees within assigned business unit.
  • Processes all internal transfers, temporary assignment requests, pay adjustments, merit/promotion adjustments, and bonus distributions.
  • Partners with senior HR members and business leaders to understand the business model, financial outlook, growth plans, and workforce dynamics.
  • Manages, develops, and maintains human resources activities, policies, and procedures for assigned business unit.
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management, including coaching and counseling.
  • Makes presentations and recommendations to management regarding human resources policies or initiatives.
