About The Position

Responsible for executing Human Resources priorities and strategies in alignment with overall organizational objectives. Under general supervision, responsible for day-to-day administration of policies and programs covering several or all of the following: recruiting, compensation and benefits, training, employee and labor relations, safety, and personnel research for a designated LOB. The HR Business Partner (HRBP) aligns business objectives with employees and management in designated business units and serves as a hands-on HR representative to management on Human Resource-related issues. A successful HRBP will act as an employee champion, change agent, and be able to assess and anticipate HR related needs. The HRBP is a hands-on HR expert and formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business units’ financial position, their mid and long-range plans, their culture, and their objectives. NOTE: This is a matrix position between HR and Operations, and as such, constant communication is required between the two functional areas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources management or a related field or equivalent professional HR experience.
  • Minimum of two years HR experience.
  • Working knowledge of at least one human resource discipline including employment, compensation practices, organizational analysis, employee and union-free relations, performance management, federal and state employment laws and/or training and development.
  • Relevant Healthcare industry experience.
  • PHR or SPHR certificate is a plus.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.
