The Human Resources Business Partners (HRBP) unit acts as a liaison between HR and other business units to align CDHS's people strategy with its business strategy. The team works with employees, managers, and key stakeholders to help build organizational capability and implement effective people strategies. The HRBPs act as strategic advisors and consultants to business leaders on issues related to human resources. This position is responsible for providing support services to business leaders and programs in areas such as: the State Personnel Board Rules, Partnership Agreement, and the CDHS Side Agreement. HRBP ensures legal and regulatory compliance (local, state, and federal employment and labor laws) is maintained and CDHS's policies are applied. HRBP assists in special projects such as unit reorganizations, updating position descriptions, recruitment and selection of open and vacant positions, and recommending fair and just compensation for positions. Supports HR's initiative in providing timely and accurate customer service to all client groups. Assist in the recruitment process including preparing compensation data, sending offer letters, and reviewing Position descriptions.
