About The Position

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison serves as a consultative HR resource for the College of Letters & Science, supporting over 900 faculty members. Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Interprets, advises, and serves as a consultative resource on HR strategy, policies, and procedures.
  • Facilitates and processes complex HR transactions and programs according to established policies.
  • Audits HR reports to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Develops and implements HR processes for functions such as training, recruitment, and payroll.
  • Responds to inquiries through various communication mediums and relays information appropriately.
  • Contributes to the development of strategic plans and directs staff implementation of initiatives.
