The HR Business Partner (HRBP) at ISC2 is a strategic role focused on supporting a defined client group by leveraging extensive HR expertise to advance the organization's people strategy. The HRBP serves as a key point of contact for business leaders, addressing complex human capital challenges and implementing competency frameworks that align with organizational goals. This role emphasizes leadership coaching, talent development, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth within the organization.

  • Build strong relationships with leaders to translate and execute HR initiatives while maintaining a big picture outlook.
  • Identify gaps and risks, proposing and implementing necessary changes.
  • Act as a leadership coach, ensuring engagement, succession, and development are prioritized.
  • Provide expert advice on HR programs, policies, employment laws, conflict resolution, and organizational development.
  • Conduct thorough and objective investigations.
  • Partner with client groups to develop and execute engagement action plans based on feedback from surveys and exit interviews.
  • Utilize analytics and metrics to identify trends and develop solutions to improve organizational performance.
  • Lead talent review processes, providing guidance on workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create and refine competency frameworks that align with organizational goals.
  • Design and implement competency assessments to evaluate employee skills and behaviors.
  • Establish a leadership competency model outlining necessary skills and behaviors for effective leadership.
  • Work with Learning and Development to implement training programs leveraging competency frameworks.
  • Integrate competency-based assessments into performance management processes.
  • Foster a culture of continuous feedback and growth through regular competency evaluations.
  • Ensure consistent application of HR principles and compliance with employment laws globally.
  • Identify training needs and monitor training program effectiveness.
  • Contribute to an inclusive working and learning environment.
  • Support specialist HR functions as needed.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field, or equivalent professional experience of at least 8 years.
  • Seven years of experience in HR, with a minimum of five years in an HRBP or related subject matter expert role in competency frameworks.
  • Recent experience with company-wide competency frameworks to drive performance reviews and succession planning.
  • Demonstrated experience in addressing complex business issues and delivering solutions.
  • Strong understanding of legal frameworks related to HR issues in employee relations.
  • HR information systems knowledge and experience required.
  • Strong capabilities using technology to support data-based decisions, including advanced knowledge of Office 365.
  • Experience in the UK or Singapore labor legislation and regulations.
  • Experience in implementing competency-based performance reviews and career ladders.
