About The Position

The HR Benefits Coordinator will oversee the daily operations of employee benefits programs, ensuring effective administration and support for employees throughout their employment journey. This role involves managing open enrollment processes, onboarding new hires, and providing assistance with benefits-related inquiries, all while maintaining a focus on customer service and compliance with employment laws.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Human Resources, Business or equivalent required
  • Three to five years of experience in a Human Resources role
  • Knowledgeable and experienced with employment laws and regulations
  • Strong computer skills; adept with Microsoft Office suite
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills
  • Keen attention to detail with superior organizational skills
  • Goal oriented, self-motivated and results driven

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement plans, and wellness programs.
  • Administer open enrollment processes, including preparing materials, conducting information sessions, and ensuring smooth implementation.
  • Complete onboarding of employees including payroll onboarding, timekeeping, handbook, and policies management along with background checks and drug screening at time of hire.
  • Provide employees with support regarding enrollment, policy changes, claims, and concerns ensuring timely resolutions and excellent customer services.
  • Support employees through the entire employment process from new hire to termination; including injuries, employment leaves, conflict resolution, HR investigations and various employment situations.
  • Assist in the annual benefits audit process, ensuring that all benefit offerings are in line with employee needs and organizational goals.
  • Support the HR team in evaluating new benefits programs or changes to existing programs to improve employee satisfaction and cost-effectiveness.
  • Perform weekly file uploads, record keeping, and performing other assigned tasks as needed.
