About The Position

The HR assistant role assists with employee onboarding and terminations. Assists with maintaining employee files, supports payroll, and ensures compliance and confidentiality. The HR assistant role serves as a point of contact for employee inquiries and helps coordinate HR-related communications. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with filing, organizing, and maintaining employee records
  • Assist with onboarding tasks such as gathering and processing paperwork
  • Support payroll processing by verifying approval of timesheets, entering deductions, etc.
  • Assist with coordinating recruitment efforts, including but not limited to posting job ads, forwarding qualified candidates to managers, and communicating with applicants
  • Assist with tracking of FMLA hours and ensuring proper processing of documentation
  • Support HR projects such as training programs, employee engagement initiatives
  • Assist with terminations
  • Assist with benefits Administration
  • Ensure compliance, coordination, and communication
  • Employee support-Respond to employee questions
  • Maintain confidentiality
