About The Position

The HR and Recruitment Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the Human Resources department at Central Texas College. This full-time position focuses on recruitment services, coordinating HR management programs, and performing various administrative tasks. The specialist will report directly to the Recruitment Supervisor and assist in implementing HR processes effectively.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associates Degree from an accredited institution preferred.
  • Eight years of clerical/secretarial experience with a high school diploma or GED, or relevant trade school certificate and four years of clerical experience, or Associates Degree and two years of clerical experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with the public and employees.
  • High attention to detail and ability to analyze large amounts of data.
  • Critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support the HR department with specialized assistance for Recruitment Services.
  • Coordinate and implement Human Resource Management programs and processes.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to HR functions.
  • Interact effectively with the public and employees at all levels.
  • Make discretionary and tactful decisions in HR matters.
