About The Position

The HR Analyst at Memorial Hermann Health System is responsible for managing HR activities in accordance with established guidelines and administrative practices. This role involves developing, interpreting, and recommending program goals, policies, and procedures while ensuring consistent HR practices across the organization. The HR Analyst focuses on quality improvement, data integrity, and problem resolution, working closely with HR leadership and external vendors to enhance HR processes and support employee relations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., HR or Business Management) or equivalent experience.
  • Five years of professional experience in Employee Relations/Human Resources.
  • Strong communication, prioritization, and organization skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and use critical thinking skills.
  • Working knowledge of EEO/ADA/I-9/Immigration and Employment Law.

Nice To Haves

  • SHRM Certification (PHR or CP) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage HR activities according to established guidelines and sound administrative practices.
  • Develop, interpret, and recommend program goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
  • Work closely with internal and external vendors to ensure consistent HR practices.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports and analytics regarding employee relations and investigations.
  • Oversee the Employee Relations case management system and audit for consistency.
  • Assist in annual HR policy review and updates to the system.
  • Prepare and present required reports, including the annual EEO-1 report.
  • Serve as a liaison between the ACS department and third-party vendors.
  • Participate in special projects as needed.
