About The Position

The following is a comprehensive list of the expectations for a successful JBS Ambassador. Further, these responsibilities and expectations will be enhanced and developed as needed. To commence, an JBS Ambassador will conduct and ensure the following: Benefits Include Paid vacation and holidays Medical, dental and vision benefits 401(k) plan Better Futures Program Assist in conducting New Hire Orientation and Safety Training Meet and Greet New Hires at the entrance of the department at operational start up Ensure proper ID clocking/punching Ensure New Hires can open their lockers with combination Walk the department/floor to restrooms, department/floor to locker room, and department/floor to cafeteria a minimum of three (3) times to ensure knowledge and familiarity with the layout Demonstrate/Lead the New Hires on how to properly Don/Doff their PPE Practice a minimum of five (5) times the first day on the production floor You will conduct PPE verifications with each New Hire after each scheduled break to ensure proper usage and compliance You will be asked to help ensure New Hires are progressing along with their qualification and job responsibilities, including: Check and Verify Knife and Steel usage, when applicable Ask questions regularly of the new hires to make sure they are adjusting Help New Hires to understand the industry, process, and environment Follow Up with Human Resources with daily interactions logs Follow Up with Human Resources of any possible resignations or terminations Good communication skills are required Good attendance is a must Other duties to be assigned as necessary Understand and live the company Values Qualifications: Ability to speak, read, and write English Excellent verbal , written communication and organizational skills Bilingual (Spanish) preferred Excellent attendance Work Environment The work environment may include cold and/or hot temperatures. It may also require the use of sharp tools such as knives. Responsibilities
