The HR Advisor delivers services in a consultative approach to frontline and department operations leaders on various HR matters including employee relations, performance management, reasonable accommodations, return-to-work processes in collaboration with RCS, job evaluations, and other talent initiatives. The role involves providing interpretation of complex HR policies and procedures, offering HR input on operational decisions, and engaging leaders to identify options and resources to meet operational needs while building support for identified solutions. The HR Advisor collaborates with other HR functions to support operational needs and to implement HR programs and solutions effectively. Additionally, the position requires interpreting and analyzing workforce data and trends to guide decision-making and recommendations, conducting HR investigations, and assisting with accreditation surveys and internal audits to ensure compliance and consistency. The HR Advisor provides subject matter expertise on policies, employment/labor law, the investigative process, understanding workforce trends, and applying best practices. Critical thinking, judgment, and persuasion are essential to drive decisions that align with Mayo Clinic Values, while recognizing site and cultural differences.
