The HR Advisor plays a crucial role in promoting the value of the HR function and focuses on delivering business outcomes by building collaborative relationships across the organization. This position works closely with Leadership to align HR strategy with business plans and help implement it within the specific location. The HR Advisor develops plans to ensure the right talent is being selected to meet business needs, which may include developing and implementing a localized recruiting strategy in partnership with the Talent Acquisition team. This role also serves as one of the primary decision makers in the recruiting, selection, and hiring of hourly associates per department, tracking metrics related to staffing strategies, recruitment, interviewing, selection, and onboarding processes to identify and implement necessary revisions to workforce strategy. The HR Advisor provides consultation and intervenes as necessary to ensure alignment with HR strategy, policies, and procedures. They support the administration of HR activities including recruiting/hiring, performance management, engagement surveys, benefits enrollment, training, and relevant policies and procedures. The role also focuses on professional growth and provides developmental opportunities for others by soliciting and acting on performance feedback, building collaborative relationships, and fostering open dialogue among associates. The HR Advisor collaborates with leadership, HRBPs, and HR COEs to address performance issues and trends, recommending and executing solutions to ensure performance and developmental gaps are addressed. Additionally, they partner with supervisors in the planning process to drive business results and optimize customer service, contributing to the development of people strategies that support business objectives.
