About the position

The Human Resources Administrator at Belt Power LLC will be responsible for completing administrative duties for the Human Resources Department. The HR Administrator will assist the HR Department with recruiting, onboarding, maintaining employee records, training, and providing HR systems support.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
  • Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
  • Assists HRIS Specialist with I-9 audits to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
  • Provides clerical support to the HR department, including creating new hire folders, packets, mailings, filing, and preparing material for events such as career fairs.
  • Performs recruiting for all entry level positions and provides recruiting support for higher level positions.
  • Handles all new hire onboarding into the various systems - payroll, training programs, safety device programs and recognition programs.
  • Assigns, tracks and documents the completion of safety training for all new hires.
  • Ensures that all required safety protocols and procedures are communicated and understood by new employees.
  • Maintains accurate records of employee training sessions and certifications.
  • Conducts weekly new hire orientation meetings.
  • Create and manage content for the company's social media platforms, monitor engagement, and respond to inquiries and comments.
  • Assist employees and managers in setting Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound (SMART) goals, and track progress quarterly.
  • Manage 30/60/90 day plans for new hires and employees transitioning to new roles. Ensure that these plans are effectively communicated, monitored, and adjusted as needed to support employee success and integration.
  • Coordinates purchasing and maintenance of HR compliance postings.
  • Conducts wellness initiatives including flu shots, stress management clinics, etc.
  • Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
  • Creates and distributes companywide monthly communication.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate's level degree (or above) in Human Resources or related field required.
  • 1+ year(s) of Human Resources experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficient with or the ability quickly learn human resource information system (HRIS) or similar computer applications.
