Job Description: Take the next step to grow your career with this exciting and challenging opportunity to become a Channel Sales Readiness Manager in the WW HPE Networking Channel reporting to the Senior Director, Global HPE Networking Channel Technology Acceleration team. You will be responsible for contributing to incremental Channel sales growth through partners by managing the lifecycle for go-to-market sales plays and Channel offerings across our Networking Technology portfolio. You will create a new offer introduction framework and process to support a consistent, repeatable and scalable methodology for our Channel Technology Solutions and Offers team. You will work closely with the Channel Product Managers and other cross functional teams to support and drive consistency and smooth execution of the channel product introduction framework. The target of this role is in support of the end state; rapid time-to-market with robust sales offers which are global in scale and highly targeted to deliver incremental sales performance. To support offer readiness, this role with liaison across the business with different functions including marketing, communications, learning and development, and regional leadership to support the team in delivery. This role will assist in the development of key process indicators used across the team to monitor performance, and in monitoring and maintaining the related performance dashboards. The key measures of success for this position include developing an easy-to-follow readiness framework that stakeholders agree to and follow; developing effective schedules to keep teams on track to deliver on time; assessing and communicating risks; and quickly removing any impediments that would impact successful execution. The role of this team is to drive >30% above run rate performance through highly orchestrated go-to-market delivery and execution. Works with and manages cross-functional project teams. Conducts rigorous, data-driven analysis to diagnose the current state and model future outcomes for expected project performance. Contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Provides expertise to cross-functional project teams providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. To drive optimal execution and results you will need to collaborate extensively across multiple organizations to ensure alignment and delivery of key dependencies to launch the offers created by the Channel Sales Technology Solutions and Offers team.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in project management, program management, channel ecosystems, change management, best practices and the networking industry
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience with project management methodologies and tools
  • Knowledge of quality management and product release cycles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and verbal.
  • Strong relationship management including collaborative team building to manage project teams to deliver to common goals.
  • Strong planning, analytical thinking, analysis and problem solving skills, as well as process management skills to inform launch strategies and improvements.
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and project management tools.
  • Excellent project management skills including project structuring and strong organizational skills and attention-to-detail.
  • Self-starter with demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously to manage project objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Project and launch management: Develop and execute comprehensive launch plans, track key milestones, and manage risks to ensure the offers launch on time per plan.
  • Planning: Develop release schedules, project plan templates for team to leverage and manage dashboard reporting process.
  • Process Development: Develop, document and optimize processes to ensure successful release of offers and engagement with cross functional teams.
  • Cross-functional coordination: Coordinate with various groups to ensure alignment and successful launch of offers, including Learning and Development, Marketing and other Channel teams.
  • Training and enablement: Develop training and communications plans to ensure Channel Sales teams, Channel program teams and partners are fully equipped to sell the offers.
  • Independently, create, lead and manage the introduction and release process lifecycle across multiple technology areas and sales plays.
  • Support the release process for worldwide channel sales play strategy across all geo’s.
  • Manage end to end cross-functional project management including manage to scope, schedule and budget.
  • Work with the team to ensure the agreed operating metrics / performance standards for each sales play offer is being followed and rolling up to the performance dashboard.
  • Ensure the product management framework to deliver consistent, repeatable and scalable offers to market across the Networking portfolio is understood and being followed.
  • Conduct readiness assessments, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they impact launch.
  • Foster strong relationships cross-functionally and coordinate delivery of dependent deliverables including Marketing content/assets, training deliverables/schedules, financial approvals and all other items to ensure readiness for launch for partner facing deployment.
  • Consolidate all training requirements from product managers to develop the delivery schedule with the Learning and Development and Marketing teams to ensure internal and external partner training is done expeditiously through L&D practices and Marketing events.
  • Manage the development of project guidelines, Identify gaps and risks in readiness, and escalate to management with contingency plans.
  • Develop joint communications plan with team to leverage all vehicles to keep sales plays top-of-mind internally and with partners.
  • Manage delivery of leaderboard contests.
  • Conduct post-mortem reviews after launch to analyze what went well, what could be improved and implement new processes for future launches.
  • Consults with business leaders on a wide range of issues related to the readiness strategy, process and related projects.
