HPE is seeking a strategic Finance Manager to support the High Performance Computing (HPC) and AI business. This role serves as a key financial partner across Sales, Product Management, Supply Chain, Legal, and Business Operations, driving forecasting accuracy, advanced financial modeling, and deal profitability analysis. The ideal candidate has finance experience, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence stakeholders across several functions. The HPC & AI business is a fast-paced, innovation-driven, technology environment and the candidate would be involved in the following areas. Short-term and long-term planning Lead quarterly and annual forecasts for HPC and AI product lines. Develop driver-based revenue and margin models incorporating bookings, backlog, supply constraints, and pricing dynamics. Provide scenario and sensitivity analyses to support executive decision-making. Advanced Financial Modeling Build and maintain complex financial models (revenue, margin, ROI, NPV, long-range planning). Evaluate investment decisions across R&D, infrastructure, and AI initiatives. Enhance forecasting and analytics through automation and AI-enabled tools where applicable. Cost & Profitability Analysis Conduct detailed cost analysis across hardware, software, and services. Understand gross margin drivers including BOM, sourcing, and logistics impacts. Perform deal-level profitability assessments and support pricing strategy for complex and strategic transactions. Cross-Functional Partnership Partner with Sales on pricing and large deal structuring. Collaborate with Legal on contract risk and financial implications. Support Product Management on roadmap investment and margin optimization. Align with Supply Chain on cost trends and operational efficiencies. Deliver clear financial insights to senior leadership and non-finance stakeholders.
