About The Position

The Part-Time Apprentice Piercer position at Studs offers a unique opportunity to undergo a paid training program to become a skilled piercer. This role is designed for individuals who are eager to learn and grow within a dynamic and innovative ear piercing brand. Apprentices will participate in a comprehensive 6-week training program that combines classroom learning, observation, and hands-on practice, ultimately leading to a position as an Associate Piercer upon successful completion.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Prefer at least two years of experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist (performing venipuncture and/or finger sticks).
• Availability to work 18-29 hours per week, with required availability from Friday-Sunday.
• Ability to stand for 8+ hour shifts.
• Must pierce a minimum of 18 appointments a day.
• Ability to visually inspect ear anatomy to execute advanced piercings.
• Ability to deliver piercings with a steady hand.
• Ability to lift 20 lbs.
• Ability to handle chemicals safely.

Responsibilities

• Educate clients on the unique Studs' experience through the selling cycle.
• Deliver confident, clear, and professional communication with clients during their entire experience.
• Leverage Studs' resources and policies in decision making.
• Become well-versed in piercing operating procedures and regulations to ensure client experience and work safety standards are met.
• Maintain consistent and detailed record keeping of all maintenance, sterilized inventory, and tools.
• Prioritize studio compliance and accountability to standard operating procedures and company policy.
• Provide best-in-class service to everyone in the studio.
