About The Position

HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge is seeking a PRN Housekeeper (EVS Assistant) to join their team. This role involves cleaning patient rooms, including those for COVID patients, and ensuring that all surfaces are disinfected. Responsibilities include emptying trash, cleaning sinks, counters, showers, toilets, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, restocking paper products, and shampooing carpets. The position also requires following proper procedures for waste disposal and cleaning public areas.

Requirements

• One year of housekeeping experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms, including COVID patient rooms and dismissal units.
• Disinfect all surfaces, empty trash, and clean sinks, counter areas, showers, and toilets.
• Dust, mop, vacuum, and restock paper products.
• Shampoo carpets as needed.
• Follow proper procedures for separating regular waste from biohazardous waste.
• Dispose of needles and store clean and dirty linens appropriately.
• Clean public and ancillary areas, including restrooms and trash disposal.
• Use a backpack vacuum for cleaning.
• Dispose of Sharps containers per policy.
