Legacy Behavioral Health Services is seeking a Housing Coordinator to join our Thomas County team. The housing coordinator under the supervision of the Housing Manager performs a wide range of tasks in the community to assist consumers in regaining control over their own lives while promoting the recovery process. Housing Coordinators will assist individuals will receive assistance in attaining safe and affordable housing and working towards the goal of sustaining independent living supports. The Housing Coordinator will monitor and facilitate the overall goal of Housing Specialists who promote community integration by focusing on independent living and immediate access to a housing subsidy. The Coordinator of Housing Services oversees day-to-day operations of the team of Housing Specialists in their designated area of Valdosta, Thomasville, Albany, or Savanah areas. ensuring timely, accurate documentation of the individual’s course of care. The Housing Coordinator monitors the Individuals’ progress towards established goals by promoting and coordinating overall care among all team members. Housing Coordinator must be able to work independently, communicate effectively and professionally. The Housing Coordinator will work closely with stakeholders such as landlords. Must be able to work well with community agencies and function as part of a team. Flexible hours required.
