About The Position

Grand Canyon University's Housing Operations department is currently seeking a Housing Operations Coordinator. This includes overseeing the planning of living area allocations, maintaining online housing selection processes, and ensuring clear communication regarding housing policies and deadlines. The Housing Operations Coordinator will coordinate housing for all students across all semesters, which involves planning, implementation, and efficient oversight of logistics. This role requires collaboration with various departments to ensure that apartments are ready for occupancy. The coordinator will also act as a representative for specialty student groups, ensuring that their specific housing needs are met. This includes managing early arrivals, late stays, and other special requests. The position demands strong relationship-building skills to maintain rapport with university representatives and uphold customer service standards when interacting with students, parents, and internal staff. In addition to these responsibilities, the Housing Operations Coordinator will collect, maintain, and analyze student housing data to ensure data integrity and compliance with established processes. This includes processing cancellations, managing housing eligibility, and conducting audits of student accounts. The coordinator will also be responsible for developing marketing materials and training documents, as well as managing the online housing application processes to enhance the student experience.
