About The Position

Monitors the behavior and activities of clients participating in a Salvation Army emergency housing program; guards the safety of Salvation Army facilities and buildings to ensure compliance with shelter rules and policies and to protect the safety of staff and clients.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. (preferred but not required) and Six months experience working with the public with experience working in a security or social service environment preferred, OR Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitors the behavior and activities of clients.
• Ensures compliance with shelter rules and policies.
• Provides safety for guests, staff, and building.
