The Housing and Student Support Manager advances student persistence, stability, and wellness by overseeing housing operations, emergency housing case management, residential engagement, and key student benefit programs. Serving as the designated NLU HOUSE Liaison, this role manages emergency housing placements and coordinates care for students experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity in partnership with campus and external housing providers. Reporting to the Assistant Dean of Students and Director of Housing and Residence Life, the Manager provides daily operational oversight of on-campus housing, including occupancy management, housing systems administration, billing coordination, and alignment with the Master Lease partnership. The role also serves as the primary institutional contact for the Student Health Insurance Program and the CTA U-Pass Program, ensuring compliant administration, accurate data management, and clear communication regarding student enrollment and access. Working collaboratively across Student Affairs, the Manager positions housing as a core retention and student success strategy. The role strengthens residential engagement and community standards while implementing efficient, assessment-informed, and compliant processes. Balancing direct student support with operational coordination, crisis response, and conduct administration, the Manager contributes to a safe, inclusive, and developmentally grounded residential experience.
