The Housing Advocate for CVOEO’s Bridges Recovery Shelter provides direct support and advocacy for individuals experiencing homelessness who are committed to living in recovery from drugs and alcohol. The position integrates housing-focused case management with recovery support and mental health resources in a trauma-informed, client-centered environment. The Housing Advocate works directly with shelter guests to secure safe, stable, and supportive housing while coordinating with internal staff and community partners to address barriers to recovery, employment, and wellness. This role is critical to ensuring guests’ successful transition from shelter to permanent housing and sustained recovery. This position reports to the Bridges Recovery Shelter Director (or Associate Director).
