Location: Madras NeighborImpact's Housing program offers crucial assistance to individuals and families in need within Crook, Deschutes, and Jefferson counties, as well as the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs. The program can provide eviction prevention and deposit assistance, prioritizing applications based on need rather than a first-come, first-served basis. Overview of Key Duties and Responsibilities: The Housing Advocate-Indian Child Welfare Act position provides individualized in-home case management and supportive services to Indian Child Welfare Act and Jefferson County clients referred by Oregon Department of Human Services Child Welfare for purposes of clients’ self-sufficiency and accessing and maintaining housing. A function of this role is compassionately and professionally performing screening, intake, and assessment with potential clients to establish eligibility for program participation. Referring clients to community partner agencies/service providers and providing advocacy for housing opportunities is an essential element of success in this role. The Housing Advocate is responsible for maintaining accurate, complete, up-to-date client files and records. We value the respect and dignity of all.
