About The Position

The Houseperson supports the housekeeping team by preparing rooms, removing linens and trash, delivering supplies, and maintaining public and back-of-house areas.

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong customer-service skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior hospitality experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational ability.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to push/pull carts and equipment.
  • Indoor/outdoor work; exposure to cleaning chemicals.
  • Includes weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Remove linens and trash from guest rooms and public areas.
  • Transport clean linens and supplies to designated areas.
  • Assist with cleaning rooms, hallways, and public spaces.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas and carts.
  • Report repair or safety issues promptly.
  • Assist with room setup, furniture movement, or special projects.
  • Support laundry operations as needed.
  • Assist other departments during high-demand situations.
  • Pre and post-storm preparation.
