The Houseperson is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of public spaces throughout the resort, assisting housekeepers with daily operations, and responding to guest requests with kindness and professionalism. This role includes cleaning and upkeep of hallways, elevators, lobbies, and service areas, as well as supporting room attendants with linens, supplies, and furniture moves.

  • Clean and maintain public areas including lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, and service areas
  • Collect and transport dirty linens, terry, and trash from service areas to designated locations
  • Restock and organize housekeeping closets and supply rooms as needed
  • Assist room attendants with tasks such as moving furniture, delivering cribs/rollaway beds, and replenishing supplies
  • Ensure hallways remain clear of debris, trash, and room service trays
  • Report maintenance needs, safety hazards, or damages promptly to leadership
  • Respond to guest requests with courtesy and professionalism, ensuring timely resolution
  • Support deep cleaning projects such as floor polishing, carpet shampooing, or lobby detailing
  • Follow lost and found procedures when handling guest items
  • Uphold safety, sustainability, and cleanliness standards at all times
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied schedules as business requires
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused with a positive attitude
  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English; bilingual skills (Spanish) a plus
