The House Person is primarily responsible for various housekeeping duties as well as processing special requests. This will include cleaning public areas, the pick up and delivery of clean and dirty linen bins from the locker rooms, pools, guest room areas, and the Life Enhancement Center, and delivering the linen bins and amenities to Housekeeping storerooms. Housekeeping: Assure cleanliness of guest room hallways, foyers, and stairwells. Assist room attendants in maintaining Canyon Ranch's high standards of cleaning quality. Primary responsibility is to ensure all dirty linens and trash are brought to their designated areas, restock housekeeping closets, and answer all radio calls in assigned areas. Provides an exceptionally clean and organized environment to all colleagues and guests. Housekeeping Support: Stock linen closets with linen, amenities, and supplies for room attendants; may include taking supplies directly to room attendants. Empty room attendant carts of soiled linen and trash. Change and replenish bed linens, towels, and guest amenities, as needed. Stock, maintain, and transport housekeeping supplies. Dispose of trash and recyclables. Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner. Perform guest turn-down service, as needed. General Cleaning: Perform guest room hallway cleaning tasks, such as emptying trash, dusting windowsills, chair rails, heaters, vents, pictures, light globes, baseboards, and removing spots from walls and doors. Vacuum, sweep, and/or mop guest hallways, stairwells, and foyers. Clean guestrooms as needed.
