This person is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, order, and appearance of back-of-house areas in the hotel while also supporting the housekeeping team. Requirements

  • A friendly, respectful demeanor with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., push/pull housekeeping carts, and stand/walk for long periods.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
  • Commitment to cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction.
  • A love for the history and culture of the Fort Worth Stockyards.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior hotel experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with hotel cleaning standards and guestroom servicing procedures is a plus.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with team members and departments to deliver exceptional service.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced, high-standard environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist housekeeping team by delivering linens, amenities, and supplies to guest floors and closets.
  • Remove used linens, garbage, and recycling from housekeeping carts and guest areas promptly.
  • Stock housekeeping closets and ensure storage rooms are clean, organized, and fully supplied.
  • Respond quickly and courteously to guest and staff requests for items such as towels, pillows, or rollaway beds.
  • Perform periodic deep cleaning tasks including carpet shampooing, polishing, and window washing.
  • Report any maintenance issues, safety concerns, or unusual room conditions to the appropriate departments.
  • Adhere to all hotel and safety standards, using proper personal protective equipment when necessary.
  • Collaborate with the housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness of service elevators and team member areas as needed.
  • Ensure workspaces and equipment are cleaned and maintained at the end of each shift.
