About The Position

Maintains cleanliness of hotel and keeps Room Attendants supply carts emptied in a timely manner. Checks for satisfaction and properly uses the Service Recovery process to resolve problems when they exist. Promotes Total Rewards programs and card membership. Provides a warm farewell and thanks guests for visiting. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: · Transports cleaning equipment up and down ramps. · Vacuums and shampoos carpet. (Daily) · Washes windows inside and out. · Washes and cleans walls light fixtures, louvers, ceilings, shelves and outside walls and cement walls. · Operates and controls all mechanical equipment including rotary machines, blowers and back vacuums including a golf cart. · Cleans and empties various cleaning equipment including shampooers, buffers and vacuums. · Recognizes and uses appropriate chemicals. · Assists Room Attendants with stripping beds, emptying trash, bringing fresh linen and other related responsibilities. · When needed, make up room. · Delivers upon requests guest amenities, i.e. pillows, additional beds, blankets and much more. · All other duties as assigned. · Overall cleaning of the hotel. · Responsible for deep cleaning of rooms.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
