About The Position

The Houseperson supports the housekeeping team by handling tasks such as cleaning, restocking supplies, and assisting with laundry duties. They work closely with other departments to ensure timely room turnover and address any maintenance or cleanliness issues promptly. Ultimately, the Houseperson helps create a welcoming and comfortable environment that enhances the guest experience and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
  • Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and supervisors.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles within the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize guest rooms, corridors, and public areas according to established standards and procedures.

  • Assist with laundry duties including collecting, sorting, and distributing linens and uniforms.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department promptly.
